A base frame consisting of CNC cut plywood was clad in a mix of Plastazote for planar areas and simple curves while vacformed PVC was used for compound curves. Accessed by removing one of the side glass panels was a cryo bed made from CNC cut Plastazote, this was topped with opal acrlyic allowing the bed to be illumnated by the internal lighting tubes. Some 3D prints were added including an enclosue to house a digital tempertaure readout as well as couplers on the outside of the pod to connect to flexbile ducting.
